At !Nara we are wholly committed to nature as a healer and believe that any time spent in nature will offer mental and physical health benefits.
As such we offer workshops and courses around nature engagement – from bushcraft to foraging to forest bathing, our highly trained team works with Wood Learn Forest School to bring all the benefits of nature to young people and adults alike. We’ve worked on the Isle of Wight for 15 years, encouraging nature engagement through forest school in the Island schools, and we offer weekend, evening and holiday classes.
These are not ‘therapy’, but they are therapeutic as engagement with the natural world has been shown to have positive outcomes for mental health.
Included in these sessions are:
Forest School, Seasonal Foraging, Seasonal Wild Food Prep, Bushcraft and more. You can see what sessions are coming up here.
